Appointed By: City Manager
Length of term: Appointments are for three years with staggered terms.
Meetings: 2nd Monday of the month at 4 p.m. in the small conference room on the second floor of City Hall, 1525 Broadway.

Duties:
The Longview Downtown Parking Committee is an advisory committee created by the Longview City Council. The purpose of the committee is to investigate, study and make recommendations relative to the need for, use and limitations of use of off-street and on-street parking facilities serving the commercial and residential areas bounded by 15th Avenue, 11th Avenue, Florida Street and Vandercook Way, or as amended by request of the City Manager or by vote of the committee.

The committee meets regularly to conduct its activities, and reviews requests for changes in parking regulations and limitations. It makes its recommendations to the City Manager.
