Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

Appointed By: City Manager

Length of term: 3 years.

Meetings:
Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Building (2920 Douglas Street).

Duties:
Performs studies and makes recommendations regarding Longview’s park and recreation facilities and programs to best meet public needs.

What they accomplish:
Liaison between the public and the Parks and Recreation Department to provide feedback in regards to department needs.
