Are you ready to start a business? Join us April 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a free seminar to get you started. This seminar will cover some of the topics you need to research and answer before you consider jumping into business ownership. You will start with the perfect “Elevator Pitch” exercise about your concept then move quickly to a discussion of entrepreneurial myths and realities. You will see statistics on why businesses fail and, more importantly, ways to avoid becoming one of those statistics. You will end the day with a look at “Nuts and Bolts” of getting started in your business and review some important basics on business planning.
Takeaways from this seminar include:
• What’s a good business idea, what’s a bad one?
• Consider the critical factors of business success.
• Where do I find information on licenses, taxes, forms and types of entities?
• Gain valuable business planning tools and learn where you can get help.
