Register Early
Pre-registration is required for most classes. Some classes will fill up quickly so early registration will help ensure that you or your child will not be disappointed. Please Note: No first class “on site” registration will be taken by instructors.

Resident or Non-Resident?
A resident is anyone who lives or owns property within the Longview city limits. Even though your mailing address is “Longview”, this does not necessarily mean you are a city resident. Non-residents pay an additional $5 charge per class or program due at the time of registration.

Kelso city residents will receive resident rates for programs at Catlin Center only.

Participant Initiated Refunds
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class! Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid the need to request a refund.

Refunds are not issued when your request is less than three business days before the starting date of the class.

Participant initiated refund requests must be made in writing three business days before the class start date. A $5 processing fee per activity for each person will be assessed. Sorry no refunds after three business days prior to the class start date. This is due to financial commitments we must make before activities begin.

A Refund Request Form is available at the Recreation Office for your convenience. Refunds take approximately 30 days to process.

No participant initiated refunds are available for one day classes, team athletics, trips or special events.

Department Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee
Full refunds will be issued for any program cancelled by Parks & Recreation or you may choose to be transferred to another class during that quarter.

If after your first class you are not completely satisfied with your experience, we will refund your full registration. After the second class, a refund will not be issued. No satisfaction guarantee refunds, except for cancelled classes, are available for one day classes, team athletics, trips or special events.

To request a satisfaction guarantee refund, a written request must be received at the Recreation Office after the first class but before the second class. A Refund Request Form is available at the Recreation Office for your convenience. Refunds take approximately 30 days to process.
