Performance & Music
Introduction to Theater
Students are lead through an introductory world of pantomime and
improvisational acting. Students will begin to create their own characters
and situations. Along with being primed for further stage study, improvisation
improves listening skills, inventiveness and helps young actors develop
confi dence and ease on stage. The class ends with a performance open to family
and friends. The instructor is a professional actor who performs and teaches
children’s theater in the Portland area. Participants should bring a lunch each
day.

Lumberjill Hoop Camp
Campers will learn basketball skills that will help them become an all around
sound Hoop player. Each participant receives a camp t-shirt. Prizes and awards
will be given. Camp is open to all area girls.
