    Beginning Painting

    Learn basic acrylic painting techniques. Participants will learn how to shade, layout a design, with the focus on animals. Class supplies are covered by supply fee.

    Flower Design

    Sew & Craft Camp

    Show your creativity and make some extra money by entering items in the Cowlitz County Fair!     Skull Duggery

    Taught by a local fish and wildlife biologist, classes will cover animal skulls and skeleton identifi cation, anatomy and wildlife biology. Each participant will extricate modern real animal skeletons from a stone-like matrix, just like a real paleontologist.

    Performance & Music

    Introduction to Theater

    Students are lead through an introductory world of pantomime and improvisational acting. Students will begin to create their own characters and situations. Along with being primed for further stage study, improvisation improves listening skills, inventiveness and helps young actors develop confi dence and ease on stage. The class ends with a performance open to family and friends. The instructor is a professional actor who performs and teaches children’s theater in the Portland area. Participants should bring a lunch each day.

    Tennis Lessons, Indoor

    Lessons will emphasize the fundamentals of the basic strokes and footwork. We will cover forehand, backhand, serve and volley.
