A Message from the Chief

It is a privilege to be the Longview Chief of Police. As an administration, we recognize our employees are our greatest asset. The supervisors and administrators will seek input and advice from employees before making critical decisions for the department. We will continually strive to enhance our skills and proactively work with the community to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime. To maintain our excellent reputation as a law enforcement agency, all members of the Longview Police Department will commit themselves to performing their duties honorably with respect for all people. Members of the Longview Police Department will focus on our mission at all times while never forgetting our core values of integrity without compromise, courage in adversity, teamwork above self and service above all. With our professional caring staff, we have the ability to help make Longview a safe place to live, work, play and visit. Every contact with a citizen or visitor in Longview needs to be treated as the most important thing in that person's life. through our actions, we can and will make a difference in the quality of life in Longview.
