September Koth Gallery Show at Longview Public Library The Koth Memorial Gallery at Longview Public Library will be showing paintings by artist Beth Norwood from September 9 through September 30. There will be a public reception for the show on September 14 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Koth Memorial gallery.
Beth Norwood was transplanted to the Northwest with her husband and two children from upstate New York in 1988. She would eventually home school her daughter, which included an oil painting class taught by her friend, artist Betty Quigley. While her daughter went on to college Beth continued to try different media in the fine art world. Beth and her husband Dave, a professional photographer, enjoy capturing and sharing the beauty and grandeur of the Pacific Northwest.
The glass case in the Koth Gallery will host a display by the Southern Washington Mineralogical Society from September 2 through September 30.
