Summer Reading Fun at the Longview Public Library runs June 14 – August 12, 2023
The best way for children to keep their reading skills up and be ready for the next school year is to read! Especially when they read for fun and read what they choose. We encourage reading and learning with our summer reading program – All Together Now! Readers of all ages can participate in the reading challenge. Pre-registration starts June 1 on the Beanstack app or at longviewlibrary.beanstack.org.
Every day that you read can be logged toward your personal reading goal. Read 30 days (or more!) between June 14 – August 12 to finish the challenge. Look out for special bonus weeks, where you’ll earn a prize for logging multiple days during those weeks while supplies last! Come to the Library as you earn milestone prizes:
10 days of reading – choose something from our prize capsule
20 days of reading – select a book to read into the library
30 days of reading – finish the challenge and get the finisher prize
40 days and more – keep the challenge going and get additional prizes!
In addition to the online reading challenges, the Library will be hosting a summer schedule packed with events for all ages. Events include story times and book clubs, movie screenings, and our finale picnic. Add these special events to your calendar:
